Saltwood Interiors is an interior design studio led by the wife-husband team of Christine Cowles and Mauricio Bergamin. Based in Santa Barbara, California, we serve clients in Southern California and provide virtual design services across the country. Together, we have over 25 years experience in interior decorating, home staging, hospitality, event planning, and communications.

Inspired by the natural beauty of California, Saltwood Interiors emphasizes organic, natural spaces and strives to create stunning yet approachable interiors designed for everyday living. We specialize in design and sourcing for residential and vacation/short-term rental properties, including bathroom and kitchen remodels, materials selection, and furniture sourcing.

Christine is a certified Short-Term Rental Stylist™, member of the Sherwin-Williams Advisory Board, and a monthly columnist in Santa Barbara’s The Independent Real Estate section. She has been featured in Food & Home Magazine, Shoutout SoCal and was recognized in 2024 as a Top Ten Finalist in the RESA® Home Staging Industry Awards for Short-Term Rental Staging in the United States.
